RUNAWAY TO EUROPE – Cherie Currie of THE RUNAWAYS will Tour Europe this Summer with SHAMELESS Feat: Stevie Rachelle of TUFF

Metal Sludge — Better late than never… and that pertains to Cherie Currie of The Runaways hitting select countries in Europe this summer, for the very first time ever!

Currie is the classic voice and front-woman from the ground-breaking all female pop punk group The Runaways.

This summer Currie will hit European soil for 2 weeks worth of dates that include shows in Germany, Belgium, Holland and Czech Republic.

This will be The Runaways singer’s first trip to all of these countries as a live performer and fans will be in for a treat that will be sure to include classic songs from the singer including; “Midnight Music”, “Roxy Roller” and “Cherry Bomb” in her live shows.

Currie, who is 64, has aged well and still has that platinum blond hair and gritty rock voice too.

The tour will be supported by German rockers SHAMELESS featuring Stevie Rachelle the Voice of TUFF.

The opening set with Rachelle will be split 50/50, with the group playing various songs from SHAMELESS and the TUFF back-catalog as well.

Currie is using a backing band that includes Alexx Michael (bass), Dennis Post (guitars), Danny Raygun (guitars) and Markus Herzog (drums).
