“”Redline” is about living life to the fullest, like an engine when you push it too hard and it redlines. It’s about that adrenaline rush of pushing your life to the max.”

BRAND NEW MUSIC — Any Sammy Hagar fans out there… or should we ask, who remembers the song “I Can’t Drive 55”?

Well, it’s 2025 and the latest drive your car until it redlines song is…. “Redline” by The Gavin Evick Band.

The Gavin Evick Band is fronted by Gavin Evick and we first brought you Evick and his project back in 2022 with our article; ‘JUST LIKE THE 80’S … 20 Year Old Gavin Evick releases Debut Video Single “Favorite Songs”

We followed that up with his release of “Young, Wild & Free” in June 2024.

Now Evick is the ripe old age of 23 with his guitarist Gavin Hades clocking in at 18 and drummer Steven Saints is the band Grandpa at 26… well, that was until they brought in Eric Brittingham to lay down some bass, who clocks in at 65.

Now we’re guessing Brittingham won’t be a stable member of the band, as he basically is the combined age of all 3 and Eric has kids older than these guys… but… we’re pretty sure working with a veteran like the Cinderellla co-founder was helpful for sure.

Not forgetting, that Evick is the son of Pete Evick of The Bret Michaels Band who has been instrumental in helping his son migrate the music industry.

The band has sent out the following presser about the latest from The Gavin Evick Band which we have shared below.

The Gavin Evick Band returns, faster and louder with the new single and video “REDLINE” featuring founding member of iconic rock band Cinderella, Eric Brittingham on bass guitar.

The Gavin Evick Band takes themselves and the fans to the next level with a much heavier and aggressive sound than you have heard from them in the past. With giant in-your-face guitar riffs from Gavin Hades, rock solid drums from Steven Saints, a pounding and driving bass line provided by Eric Brittingham (founding member of iconic rock band Cinderella) and a vocal performance that is raw, emotional, and full of passion from Gavin Evick, Redline will surely make you “Play Your Music Louder” and “Drive Your Car Faster” as the song directs.

Gavin Evick says, “Redline is about living life to the fullest, like an engine when you push it too hard and it redlines. It’s about that adrenaline rush of pushing your life to the max.”

Eric Brittingham states Gavin Evick is deeply rooted in 80’s hard rock, and it shows through in his blistering new single “Redline”.

Redline is available now on all streaming and downloadable platforms . You can see the video at The Gavin Evick Band YouTube Channel at the link below.
