Eddie Trunk has posted an update regarding the Jake E. Lee shooting.

According to this latest information, it appears Lee was shot 3 times, but thankfully those bullets missed all of his major organs.

Trunk wrote late this afternoon on Facebook the following: “Update on Jake E Lee. He was hit 3 times. He was hit in the chest, arm and foot. Bullets missed all major organs except lung. But he is doing well and expected to make a full recovery. This info direct from his manager who I just spoke with. Got very lucky thankfully!”

There is also an article on TMZ that notes the guitarist was out walking his dog at 2:40am and that it is believed the shooting was a “totally random” street shooting.

Ozzy Osbourne has commented to TMZ about his former guitarist as well.

“It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be ok.” Osbourne tells TMZ.

Metal Sludge — Shocking news has just hit the wire that rock guitarist Jake E. Lee has been shot multiple times in Las Vegas.

The story according to multiple sources, is that Lee was out walking his dog in the early morning hours earlier today when he was randomly shot.

The former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist is said to be recovering in an area hospital.

As confirmed by management, legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Red Dragon Cartel) was shot multiple times early this morning in a Las Vegas, NV street shooting. Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital. He is expected to fully recover.

Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours. As the incident is under police investigation, no further comments will be forthcoming. Lee and his family appreciate respecting their privacy at this time.
