SORRY SORRY
Ted Poley retracts “bait and switch” comment about Rock N’ Skull
NEW JERSEY — Ted Poley recently unloaded on Rock N’ Skull promoter Justin Murr in an online rant but has now posted a follow up retracting the ‘bait and switch’ part of his rant.
Poley who revealed he was a partner of Murr‘s and the related 2017 Rock N’ Skull festival posted a mini-tirade calling Murr a sociopathic liar and a thief for stealing a book idea of his. (see screen capture below).
Murr admitted to the later in a comment exchange with Poley on Rock N’ Skull’s event page.
It seems with all the excitement spurred by their past business dealings (gone bad it appears) that may have gotten the best of Poley.
The Danger Danger frontman has since posted a follow-up statement to his tirade which reads in-part; “Maybe I used the wrong term, so for that I truly apopogize.”
Poley continued with: “Sorry if I “got your goat” with my hasty post Justin Murr, but you and I and God know that you stole my book idea…”
We have also included Murr’s statement regarding Poley’s original rant and Metal Sludge’s related article.
Poley’s full follow up apology is screen captured below.
Metal Sludge will assume the ‘certain website’ identity which Murr refers to in his statement.
Murr writes: “…seeking the courts help in stopping a certain website…”
Stopping a certain website from what?
Reporting news.
Murr requested us to retract our story.
For the record, Metal Sludge stands behind our stories 100% and we will retract nothing.
We report news, and fully understand our position and our freedom of the press right.
As for the damages your brand has endured, they are no fault of ours.
We request for you to check the mirror for your answer as to who is responsible for anything going on with Rock N’ Skull.
Our last request will be for Ted Poley to grow a spine and suggest Justin Murr can go pound sand.
Thanks for reading.
