Jack Russell expresses condolences to Terry Ilous, unloads on former band Great White
Facebook — Former Great White singer Jack Russell has spoken out on the band’s most recent member change.
Russell fronts his own version of the group known as Jack Russell’s Great White.
Russell writes about the band’s recent firing of their singer Terry llous: “I just wanted to express my condolences to Terry Allous for the deceitful way my X band members dealt with the situation of his termination kind of reminds me of something else. Huh?”
The members who make up Great White are as follows; co-founder and lead guitarist Mark Kendall, along with the classic era members Michael Lardie (keys/guitars) and Audie DeSbrow (drums).
Great White have been fronted by Terry Ilous (XYZ) for roughly 7 years.
Ilous was the official replacement for Russell after former Warrant frontman Jani Lane filled in for a short stint.
There has been bad blood in the press and exchanges from both sides painting the other as well, the bad guy.
Russell refers the fired singer as Allous, but his last name is actually Ilous.
And it has taken some fans by surprise, with Russell using the word “condolences” in his message.
The definition, is as follows: Condolences defined, is an expression of sympathy, especially on the occasion of the death of a person’s relative or close friend.
Thankfully Terry Ilous has not died.
Even though he is no longer a member of Great White, he is alive and well.
Oddly, in his statement Russell also writes: “In the last few months Terry and I have gotten to know each other through Linkedin have become what I would say friends. As far as I’m concerned he’s a great guy and he had an opportunity and he took it. The fact is it was my fault thagt it all happened to begin with.”
One might wonder, was Russell and Ilous being friends in recent months the catalyst for Ilous being fired?
