TOUR NEWSKiss bassist Gene Simmons has been promoting a slew of up coming solo tour dates for the spring and summer of 2025, but… it seems he might have hit a snag.

Reports are coming in now that 17 of the 26 Gene Simmons solo shows that have been on-sale have now been postponed just days before the run was to start in Anaheim California.

Multiple rumors and intel from industry insiders are suggesting it’s due to a lack of interest from ticket-buyers.

Simmons, 75, a co-founder of the iconic rock band Kiss who played their final live concert date on December 2nd 2023 set out on his own last year in 2024, and played several shows with his Gene Simmons solo band.

The Demon as he’s known to Kiss fans, continued on booking into 2025, with a few dozen dates on the books and these shows have been promoted for months, but now as we’re less than 2 weeks out from the start of the tour, it seems the entire month of April has been postponed.

Popular radio host Eddie Trunk posted a statement earlier today acknowledging the recent Simmons tour date rumors writing on his X page: “Just to be clear , all Gene Simmons dates are NOT cancelled. Some are. People are responding to one venue announcing a cancel. It is not a tour announce. As of now several shows on, several canceled. As to why they canceled it doesn’t take a genius..”

The ARTISTS ON RECORD with Stefan Adika Youtube channel has also reported on the latest Simmons news in a new Vlog uploaded earlier today. (Watch below)

The Rock N Roll Experience Facebook page has also reported on the postponed dates with a screen capture from Christina V. who works for Simmons. (See below)

Christina V. wrote on her short blog to readers and fans of Simmons; “Quick Update for GS band dates: The GS April dates and May Texas dates are being postponed until early 2026. YES, the rest of the May dates are still happening! Yes GS is okay; nothing health-wise! (Smiley emoji). If you bought tickets, you get a refund from wherever you purchased the tickets. If you bought a bass experience, e-mail me, and I will refund your experience unless you want to move to another date. Super simple!”
