TOUR NEWS … TRIXTER are Ready to Hit the Road for their ‘SCORCHIN’ Summer Tour 2025

PARAMUS, New Jersey — The latest tour news is that New Jersey’s very own TRIXTER will be hitting the road this summer for a minimum of 20 shows.

TRIXTER had been relatively quiet in the last decade or so, but in recent years the group have started coming out of hiding and playing select shows and festivals.

Now for the summer of 2025, the band have just released a string of dates starting in June and ending in early September.

Metal Sludge reached out to TRIXTER and the guys are really looking forward to the shows.

P.J. Farley adds: “We break loose from the Spirit of 1989 Tour for the summer (for the most part) and have some killer festivals like Rocklahoma.. etc booked as well as some great weekend shows… lookin forward to a blazing summer.”

Along with several club dates, the band will also appear at Picktown Palooza in Ohio, the aforementioned Rocklahoma in Oklahoma and at the fall edition of the Rainbow Parking Lot Bash in Hollywood California.

TRIXTER was founded in 1983 by guitarist Steve Brown when he was just 12 years old and by the end of the decade, Brown and his band signed a deal with MCA/Mechanic Records.

The group achieved a Gold record with the release of their 1990 “Self-Titled” debut based off the singles “Give It To Me Good” and “One In A Million.”

The band like most have went through their fair share of ups and downs, with some of the original members no longer in the fold, but Brown along with the band’s classic era bassist Farley are as solid of a duo as any.

Brown has always been the band’s main-songwriter and guitarist – but in recent years has added frontman to his resume – and now pulls double-duty playing guitar and singing lead vocals.

While TRIXTER may not be a full-time job anymore, Brown has kept busy in music by moonlighting on select dates with Def Leppard, along with side-projects RUBIX KUBE and Tokyo Motor Fist.

In addition the Jersey native has been producing music, and was the man behind ex-KISS guitarist Ace Frehley‘s recent hit record “10,000 Volts.”

Farley himself has also been keeping the calendar full as a member of the band FOZZY since 2020.
