MS NEWS / April 10th 2026 — Well we’ve covered everything under the sun, including those wacky dudes in Steel Panther along with their obsession with “Big Boobs” and “Gloryholes“… so… as an equal opportunity publisher we give you The Cocks!
The Cocks are not your average band, but… if you can imagine the wit and fun of Steel Panther meets Surf Punks meats GayC/DC, well you have The Cocks.
Emphasis on the meat…
The Cocks new studio album “Endless Hummer” is fun, punky with plenty of rock and of course there is a comedic value that does not go unnoticed.
One thing is for sure… they’re songs, lyrics, titles and slogans are catchy and clever as all get out… they also play this stuff as tight as any well-seasoned punk band on the circuit.
This latest 12 track release is full of gems like; “Brotein”, “Being A F@g (In A RNR Band)“, “Sugar On The Rim” and “Home Sweet Homo“.
Their Facebook Bio is to the point and straight ahead – minus the straight of course – as it reads: “Loud. Fast. GAY. Celebrating the “D” through the power of RNR!”.
Their Youtube description is also a similar statement that reads: “America’s Favorite Gay Punk Band.”
Now, just in time for summer, The Cocks have released their super summer sing-a-long “Endless Hummer” which is now available on all platforms.
The band’s got some history too… The Cocks have the better part of 20 years under their speedos with full records, tours, and they’ve shared the stage and studio with some legendary names including; The Dickies, The Dead Boys and The Circle Jerks to name a few.
Metal Sludge can’t help but cheer these guys on, and dare we note… that Tchad on guitar has been in the middle of all things Hair Bands over the years… if you know, ya know.
Make sure to listen to “Endless Hummer” below and check out The Cocks on their social media.
What AI says about The Cocks…
The Cocks are a SoCal-based glam-punk band celebrated for their chaotic, filthy, and high-energy music, blending Ramones-style hooks with queer, unapologetic themes. Emerging from a “happy accident,” the band focuses on creating, fun, and fast-paced punk rock rather than preachy, politically-driven queer narratives.
Musical Style and Influence: The band is described as a mixture of Motörhead grit, Ramones hooks, and Turbonegro swagger.
Key Releases: Their 2021 album, Loads of Fun, was produced by Circle Jerks drummer Greg Hetson, featuring tracks like “It’s Better Being Gay” and “I Love Dick”.
“Sugar on The Rim”: A recent single described as a “middle finger” to subtlety, kicking off a new era for the group.
Performances: Known for high-energy shows in Southern California punk dives, emphasizing a playful, chaotic, and “filthy” aesthetic.
The band was formed by vocalist Jay Sosnicki (Zsa) after a project for a short film, evolving from a “joke band” into a serious, albeit playful, musical endeavor.
