YOU CAN’T SPELL ROCK without OC … Hair Metal Meltdown is coming to the Honda Center in So. Cal. with Great White, Slaughter, Quiet Riot and Vixen

**Hair Metal Meltdown at Honda Center in Anaheim California Friday June 21st 2024**

Metal Sludge — It’s not often you see an 80’s show hitting an arena in Southern California, but this summer that will happen at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

‘Hair Metal Meltdown‘ will hit the stage on Friday June 21st 2024 with the following lineup; Great White, Slaughter, Quiet Riot and Vixen.

Fans of the genre will be excited for sure, as this show will be something for the diehards… it’s been years since a bill like this has played at a venue of this size but June 21st, that will happen.

Vixen will open the show and is one of the few all female acts from the 80’s still playing, and the addition of Lorraine Lewis (Femme Fatale) since 2019 as lead vocalist has done the band a favor.

Roxy Petrucci on drums is the sole classic era member, but has surrounded herself with a great cast of All-Stars, along with Lewis are Britt Lightning (guitar) and Brazilian bassist Julia Lage (aka Mrs. Richie Kotzen).

Rudy Sarzo coming back into Quiet Riot has given the band and fan-base a jolt of energy… hard to believe at 73 years of age, but Sarzo has done just that!

He looks the part, plays the part and is 1 of the 2 surviving classic era members, that gave us Metal Health.

Slaughter continues to put on a great show as well with Mark Slaughter out front, Dana Strum (bass) and Jeff Blando (guitars)… but the million dollar question is, where in the world do they find these drummers?

Jordan Cannata plays drums for Slaughter… and there is nothing else to say… but Google him! #wtf

Great White will headline Hair Metal Meltdown with 3/5 of the core classic lineup still in place, included are Mark Kendall (founder, guitarist, song-writer) along with Michael Lardie (guitars, keyboards) and Audie Desbrow (drums).

Great White have added youth in recent years to their center stage position with vocal extraordinaire Brett Carlisle.
