BACK FOR MORE
Original RATT members PEARCY, DeMARTINI and CROUCIER make a statement

LOS ANGELES, California — Sources close to the Ratt camp have been hinting around for months that something was going to happen.

Now it appears something has happened.

Over the weekend 3 of the original surviving Ratt members made a public appearance together in Los Angeles.

Not only did they make an appearance, but they did so with guitarist Carlos Cavazo and drummer Greg D’Angelo.

The 5 guys showed up at long-time Rip magazine editor Lonn Friend’s birthday party.

As many fans know, Cavazo is the former classic line-up guitarist of Quiet Riot and has also been a member of the band Ratt for years (2008-2014).

Drummer D’Angelo is a former member of the classic White Lion line-up and an original member of Anthrax.

Ironically D’Angelo is also the current drummer of Stephen Pearcy’s touring group.

Sources have claimed for months that the 3 core Ratt members have been in (positive) communication with each other.

But none of the members said much of anything to acknowledge the ‘elephant’ in the room.

Further proof that there was some truth to the rumors was the spring appearance of Croucier taking the stage with Pearcy at “M15” in Corona California on May 14th. (See video below)

The 2 jammed together on some classic Ratt that saw the crowd in attendance elated.

Also a public comment in recent months from Pearcy who was quoted as saying; “Other news De Martini and Pearcy writing new music”.

One thing is for sure, they all have something in common, and that is on-going battles with Bobby Blotzer.

In the fall of 2015 Blotzer took his side project Bobby Blotzer’s Ratt Experience and essentially morphed it into his official version of Ratt.

Soon after DeMartini filed a lawsuit against Blotzer stating in part it was a ‘tribute band’ of ‘imposters’ calling themselves Ratt.

Now a year later and the other core members of Ratt have seemingly made a statement without even saying a word.

One must ask, are Ratt really back for more?

Stay tuned….
