UPDATE #2: Reports are coming in that vary as to what is wrong with Bret Michaels.

Some are saying Michaels had an adverse reaction to a medication, others are saying the singer has laryngitis and there are also multiple reports of the Poison frontman testing positive for Covid.

As of press-time, there has been no official statement from the band, other than Bobby Dall, Rikki Rockett and C.C. DeVille walking out on stage earlier tonight (June 30th) and telling fans Bret was sick and not able to play the show in Nashville.

To make note, Poison have officially released a message to ticket holders earlier today who had purchased a meet & greet with the band in Nashville, and the message stated due to someone in the Poison touring party having Covid, the meet & greet portion of their evening would be canceled for the Nashville show. (see image below).

The message also stated the band would perform as scheduled, but that has since been proven to be false, as the band did cancel.

UPDATE: Fans are now reporting that Nissan Stadium in Nashville is being evacuated due to lightning strikes in the area.

Stay tuned as things are very fluid for the whole show at this point, in addition to Poison being pulled from the bill.

UPDATE #2: Fans at the show have now confirmed, that the other members of Poison have come out to make the announcement, that Bret Michaels is sick and Poison will not be performing.

Metal Sludge would like to wish Bret a full and speedy recovery.

Stay safe everyone.
