RIP … Bill Chavis President of High Vol Music has Died after Battle with Covid-19

Metal Sludge — Sadly today we are reporting that Bill Chavis has died from complications from Covid-19.

Chavis was the President of High Vol Music and Chavis Records.

Chavis was involved with the music industry for years, and had signed and worked with bands like Quiet Riot, BulletBoys, Steevi Jaimz (TigerTailz) and Every Mother’s Nightmare.

wrote on Facebook back on August 16th: “Just a quick update: I am not well in fact I checked out yesterday and they brought me back. I am in ICU going to be in here for a while and don’t know if I’ll make it out. To all my friends thank you to all my artists thank you to my staff thank you. Hug your loved ones take care of each other. Covid is no joke I’m living in it’s hell right now.”

Word has started to spread in the music community and friends are writing condolences on his time line.
