ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA — It’s been a while since Southern California has had a proper taste of RATT but that all changes later this month.
Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini will be performing ‘The Music of RATT‘ at “The Grove” in Anaheim California on Saturday August 30th 2025 with very special guests VIXEN.
The Pearcy & DeMartini duo are responsible for countless catchy songs from their extensive RATT catalog, which features ripping guitar solos, hook-filled melodies and lyrics that paint the 80’s of excess and bad’assery!
The pair have only in recent months come together after a long lay-off (apart) and the few shows that they have done across the midwest and east coast to date have proved to be a fan favorite.
How many hits are in the set?
That’s an easy answer – all of ’em are hits – which is something most bands cannot claim.
From the second Pearcy & DeMartini hit the stage you’ll hear song after song that most will recall from the MTV videos that accompanied the track.
For many of those in attendance, it will be memory lane overload playing back like a soundtrack from your teens and 20’s.
Pearcy & DeMartini come with an all-star cast backing them with Carlos Cavazo (ex-Quiet Riot, Snow) on guitars, Matt Thorne (ex-Rough Cutt, Mickey Ratt) on bass and Blas Elias (Slaughter, Blue Man Group, Trans Siberian Orchestra) on drums.
Much like we had Steven & Joe, Dave & Eddie, and Axl & Slash… the RATT singer/guitarist tandem of Stephen & Warren are right there with some of rock’s greatest tag-teams.
The evening’s set will be full of RATT hits that are likely to include; “Lay It Down”, “Wanted Man”, “In Your Direction”, “Back For More”, “You’re In Love”, “Lack Of Communication”, “I’m Insane”, “Way Cool Jr.”, “I Want A Woman”, “Dangerous But Worth The Risk” and others along with the band’s signature smash hit “Round N’ Round.”
As one would expect events like this are always a great place to spot the who’s-who of the industry as many of the band’s peers live in the greater Southern California area, so if you are a fan of the 80’s and love RATT, this event is a must see for all.
