METAL SLUDGE / September 25th 2026 – T, F and E are just 3 letters from the alphabet but for fans of the band Ratt… most die-hards know that the TFE acronym stands for Top Fuel Entertainment which is headed up by their CEO, founder, frontman and all-around badass Stephen Pearcy.
Pearcy has been doing his dirty work for 5 decades and counting with no sign of slowing down as the now 70-year-old gets ready to release “Dogg Mob” his 8th solo effort.
But before the Mob of Doggs arrive, the main rodent isn’t sitting idle as he continues to celebrate all things Ratt N’ Roll from perfroming live, appearing at conventions, promoting classic reissues, to appearing in T.V. commercial and on podcasts that are hitting record numbers on multiple platforms across the internet.
Wait, 50 years?
Yes… 50 plus… and in reality, it’s 53 years as the earliest seeds of Pearcy’s rodent brand of rock were planted way back in 1973… the same year iconic bands like; AC/DC, Kiss, Journey, Kansas, Bad Company, Quiet Riot and Cheap Trick were all launched.
Pearcy has embraced the future of the internet and is bringing it on all fronts.
How so?
Read all about it below and be aware… we (still) have a Ratt problem!
From Sunset Strip to Streaming Millions: Stephen Pearcy’s Staying Power is Here to Stay
Stephen Pearcy Is Bringing RATT to a New Generation of Fans!
From the Sunset Strip to millions of podcast views, the founder and voice of RATT keeps finding new audiences.
TFE Entertainment / LOS ANGELES — Stephen Pearcy helped define the sound of ’80s rock as the founder, writer, and voice of RATT. More than four decades later, the songs, the stories and the unmistakable voice behind them are still drawing an insane amount of attention.
The latest example comes from Billy Corgan’s The Magnificent Others Podcast on YouTube. Pearcy’s appearance has amassed over 2 million collective YouTube views, surpassing the totals for Gene Simmons, Billy Idol and Sharon Osbourne , placing him as the podcast’s third most viewed guest. A playful “podcast cage match” puts that figure alongside Rocks newest rebel, Yungblud, 313,600 views vs Stephens 2 million views, is a solid Knock Out Punch from a Legacy Rockstar and his younger, hungrier successor.
But Stephens story began long before Podcasts, Internet, or the term “Likes & Views”.
RATT sold more than 20 million records worldwide decades ago, with “Round and Round” becoming one of the band’s defining hits. Its’ reach has continued through iconic films, television and advertising, including GEICO’s memorable “RATT problem” commercial campaign. ##RattProblem
More recently, RATT’s signature hit “Round and Round” reached a new audience when Apple CEO Tim Cook featured it in the WWDC25 keynote. 5 Million Views in 5 hours introduced the song to techies worldwide, placing it back on The Billboard Hot 100 Charts. The song also appeared in Apple Studios’ F1, starring Brad Pitt, which became the studio’s highest-grossing theatrical release. The Stephen Pearcy of 1986 would never believe what the Stephen Pearcy of 2026 is doing now!!!!
With Dancin’ Undercover marking its 40th anniversary, RATT’s catalog has weathered decades of cultural change while finding millions of new listeners along the way. “Round and Round” alone has reached 67 million YouTube views, with other RATT hits drawing view counts in the tens of millions.
From the clubs of the Sunset Strip to a new generation discovering RATT online, Stephen Pearcy’s music continues to travel well beyond the era that made him famous. Four decades on, Stephen Pearcy is still giving people something to Tune it and Turn up!
Stephen Pearcy helped write the soundtrack to a generation best described as The Decade of Decadance – The 80’s. Now a new generation is pressing play!
