LOS ANGELES, California Riki Rachtman is coming home to Hollywood.

That’s right, the Cathouse co-founder just announced a few West Coast dates for his very popular “One Foot In The Gutter” tours.

Rachtman first started his ‘OFITG’ idea with a test show back in September of 2022 and by the time 2023 rolled around, he was booking dates anywhere they’d have him.

Just over 3 years later, Rachtman has more than 50 of these shows under his belt, and in 2026 he just knocked out a string of appearances in North Carolina which is where he now calls home, along with shows in Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin and Michigan.

Now the former MTV Headbanger’s Ball host has his GPS set to take him home to Hollywood and up the West Coast where he will take his tattooed ass up the 5 Freeway to hit the Bay Area as well as Reno.

Rachtman will appear at the world-famous “Whisky-A-Go-Go” on Thursday July 16th 2026, a place familiar to the former KLSX radio deejay as he used to play the same venue with his old band Virgin in the 80’s.

In addition to his home-town date on the Sunset Strip, Rachtman has a few shows going north and we’re going to bet that there will be more added to this West Coast jaunt in the near future.

The reviews have for the most part been great thus far, and whether it’s Spoken Word, or a Story Teller type setting is irrelevant, because what you’re really going to get is a lot of old skool stories from one of the best decades ever and Riki was smack dab in the middle of it for the entire era.

Rachtman grew up in Southern California and was attending shows and promoting shows by the time he was a teenager… but he wasn’t really a band guy or a musician, however he was always part of the scene.

It may be safe to say, that Riki Rachtman was a scenester… someone who always seemed to be in the middle of it, hanging out with the most popular bands, the girls, and we’re going to go out on a limb and say he wasn’t always doing things that your parents would approve of.

With that… that sounds exactly like what a bunch of rock n’ roll metal heads want to hear about.

So, if the reviews are true… then here is your chance to go see for yourself… because the former MTV Headbanger’s Ball veejay is hitting the road for shows that will see him hitting clubs, theaters and dive bars in your area soon.

Rachtman is the co-founder of Cathouse along with Taime Downe (Faster Pussycat) and the pair turned their idea into one of Hollywood’s most infamous clubs… then took their brand above and beyond what your typical rock club was at the time.

Cathouse made it debut in September of 1986 and what happened there, who was in the building, and how crazy it really got… well, it’s safe to say that Rachtman knows all about it… he’s not only seen it first hand, then lived it, and now… he’s sharing it with you!

Get your tickets, buy your meet n’ greet with Riki, and bring some extra coin as he’s sure to have a bunch of killer top of the line swag at his shows!
