AMERICAN JETSET set to release “Jet Black Gasoline” on Golden Robot Records

METAL SLUDGE / November 4th 2026 – It’s not 1989 anymore and MTV are 3 letters that might as well mean… Mute The Videos!

But… fear not… there are still kick-ass bands releasing new music just like yesteryear.

American Jetset are one of those bands, and they will drop “Wild America” (Golden Robot Records) later this week on November 6th.

Formed in 2018 the Baltimore based quartet consists of Ian Kaine MacGregor (vocals, guitars), Skins Skinsacos (lead guitar), Kevin Harrington (bass) and Jeff Bradford (drums).

These ‘4’ have continued to make a point to write, record and release new music in all formats and “Wild America”, their 5th LP is more of the same.

“Jet Black Gasoline” is the first single that serves as a tank of rock n’ roll fuel for these lifers as they hit the ground running…

… and yes… American Jetset have played dive bars, sh!t holes and at times much worse we’re sure… but they also seem to find their way onto killer bills in legendary venues just the same.

Perhaps it’s safe to say these stage vets don’t appear to be running out of gas anytime soon… or are they?

Ironically American Jetset kicked off 2026 with an epic cover of Jackson Browne’s “Running On Empty” but based on their new record they got plenty left in the ole’ tank and “Jet Black Gasoline” is proof of that.

The band have thrown it against the shit covered wall that is the music industry once again… but will it stick?

It’s our guess… American Jetset won’t hold their breath as these guys have seen this movie before and dare we go extra cliché’ and say… it isn’t their first rodeo either.

“We spent most of our lives chasing this thing, and somewhere along the way, the stories became more important than the destination,” says the band’s frontman MacGregor.

“She’s Jet Black Gasoline, she’s a Demon Born in a Beauty Queen,” sings McGregor… then causally adds, “Don’t you Fold… Because She’ll set your Life on Fire.”

That line alone pretty much sums up at least ‘1’ girlfriend every rocker dated in the 80’s.

It’s also our guess… that the aged and much wiser musicians in American Jetset are happy to avoid her at all cost, and would just as soon sell you a t-shirt and sign your CD then chase the evening’s devil in disguise until the regret sets in on the flight home.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

AMERICAN JETSET HITS THE ROAD WITH NEW LP WILD AMERICA

WASHINGTON, DC – American Jetset is back with Wild America, a new LP arriving this November through Golden Robot Records.

Wild America is a rock ’n’ roll road trip through a lifetime of love, loss, excess, and great f**king memories. It’s about chasing the ghost of a dream and all the stories collected along the way. Every song is a postcard from a different place and time, filled with the people, places, and hangs that brought the band here.

“We spent most of our lives chasing this thing, and somewhere along the way, the stories became more important than the destination,” says American Jetset singer Ian Kaine MacGregor. “We’ve all seen decades of the best and worst of this world, but every moment is a part of who we are. That’s what this record is all about.”

It’s no secret that American Jetset was influenced by the sleeping giants of the Sunset Strip. But Wild America takes that sound somewhere new. With layered guitars, bigger soundscapes, and towering choruses, these songs would feel right at home in any arena. It’s a love letter to the days of record stores, teenage heroes, and a time when the right song could change your life. Kicking it off is “Jet Black Gasoline” the album’s first single, combining SoCal sleaze, East Coast swing, and larger-than-life hooks.

“We’ve made a lot of records over the years, but this one feels different. There’s a lifetime of stories in these songs, and we wanted to make something that really captured what all those years of rock ’n’ roll have meant to us” says American Jetset drummer Jeff Bradford.

Since forming in Washington, DC, in 2018, American Jetset has taken its hook-driven hard rock from coast to coast, played the M3 Rock Festival, and shared stages with Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Steven Adler (Guns N’ Roses), Tom Keifer (Cinderella), Winger, Slaughter, and just about every other major act in the genre. Along the way, the band has earned a reputation for bringing the kind of high-energy live show that rock ’n’ roll was built on.

The band kicked off the Wild America era on October 29 at the legendary Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, with a celebration of the release alongside Vixen. The band hits the road again in 2027 for a US tour before crossing the Atlantic for its first UK run, including a performance at HRH Sleaze X for the festival’s 10th anniversary.

At its core, Wild America is about the music, the people, and the memories that last forever. So let’s make some more. Turn it up, roll down the windows, and take the long way home.
