Metal Sludge — In the latest game of musical chairs, it has come to light that Blas Elias (Slaughter) has officially stepped behind the drum kit for Stephen Pearcy.

Last night on April 17th in The Colony Texas at “Lava Cantina”, the voice of Ratt appeared in concert with a new face on stage in Elias who made his debut with the group.

Pearcy, who is the founder, lead singer and principal songwriter of Ratt is out on his “Back in the Cellar 1984-2024″ Tour and celebrating 40 years since the release of the band’s mega multi platinum debut album “Out of the Cellar”.

The band backing Pearcy includes veteran bassist and original Mickey Ratt member Matt Thor (Rough Cutt), along with guitarists Erik Ferentinos and Johnny Monaco who are now joined by Elias (drums).

Elias has recently been rumored to be Pearcy‘s new drummer, replacing Scot Coogan (Ace Frehley) and it seems those rumors have proved to be true.

Elias still performs with the annual Trans Siberian Orchestra tours during the holiday season which he has been a part of since 2019.

In his history, Elias was also part of the Las Vegas production Blue Man Group and also a member of the all-star group Sin City Sinners.

Elias has shared the news on his official IG account as well writing: “Had a blast playing with Stephen Pearcy the voice of Ratt last night in Dallas! What a great catalog of songs and Stephen and the guys are all super cool! I’ll be doing shows with him all a summer so come say hello!”
