LOS ANGELES, California — In a series of social media videos shared on May 3rd, a Los Angeles couple are sharing their story and accusing their landlord of being crooked.
The landlord is none other than Marq Torien of BulletBoys and the videos show an argument between the singer and a male and female couple.
The videos appeared on Facebook on Sunday night that showTorien in a heated exchange with a pair of renters at what appears to be the singer’s Family’s property.
Several videos show Torien in plain view and a single video shows a female which is alleged to be Torien‘s sister who appear to be confronting the couple over a rental dispute.
The initial video shows Torien in an exchange with a male, while a female voice is heard on the line with some form of authority, whether the Police or the Paramedics is unclear, but the typed message that accompanies the clip notes both were called.
Torien and the male tenant are in a disagreement as a video shows the singer inside the home pointing out things he was unhappy with, and the video continues in what appears to be a patio setting behind the house.
The male tells Torien: “You’re on video,” while the singer is standing in the home but quickly exits saying, “Okay great… (inaudible)… then let’s call… (inaudible)”, as the male voice adds, “We paid you for the month and you’re kicking us out and changing the locks, that’s not legal,” then Torien replies, “You need to give me the keys please… I need to have the keys right now.”
While Torien and the male exchange words, the female is apparently on the phone giving their address to some emergency personnel when the male states in a panicked voice, “I’m hyperventilating, I’m hyperventilating, I’m hyperventilating, I’m hyperventilating,” and Torien chimes in with, “You’re on drugs,” the male replies, “No, I am not on drugs Marq,” then adds, “Lock it… lock it,” as the couple shut the door.
The clip continues with the female speaking to whomever is on the phone as the male voice adds, “Sir, please send someone right now… we need someone here, we’re being intimidated (and) we’re very uncomfortable,” all the while you hear the female continue with the phone call repeating their address and adding, “We’re trying to move out.”
In a portion of the video that appears to be filmed outside on the back patio Torien says to the female, “You’re going to turn that phone off or get off my property and I have rights,” while the male replies with, “We’re packing our things,” as the singer puts his hand up to attempt to block the filming.
Torien then adds, “No you’re not… you better shut that off right now… are you going to leave?”
There is a 4th clip, that shows the couple interacting with a female towards the back of the property who is alleged to be Torien‘s sister, and the exchanges continue as the couple tells her, “We paid our rent and we need our (inaudible),” as the female renter talks Torien‘s sister appears stating, “Get out! Thank you, goodbye, get out! Get the F#@k out! Bye, you stupid ugly b!tch.”
The video ends as the female voice of the renter simply replies with, “Bye.”
It’s hard to say all of what really took place here but we can only hope that nobody was hurt and all was sorted between the parties and their related disagreements.
