LOS ANGELES, California – Never a dull a moment on the internet and the same can likely be said about the life of one Wolfgang Van Halen.

Van Halen, 35, has had his fair share of online battles with what can often be described as an endless flow of fans that either worshiped or followed his late Father’s amazing career.

It’s also been detailed over recent years that the Son of who many would call the greatest guitarist to ever live has not always handled his position the best when it comes to online interactions.

The only child of the iconic Eddie Van Halen found himself in yet another online war of words recently with some randoms when he dropped a hate filled message directed at a female whose handle is @chefhotstuff on Instagram.

“You Could Die and Nothing In My Life Would Change,” wrote Wolf to the woman named Jodie.

The exchanged appeared to have taken place after the subject of how he met his wife Andraia Allsop was brought up during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday April 30th.

Wolfgang appeared on the talk-show with his Mother (Valerie Bertanelli) and Wife Andraia whom he married in October of 2023.

A vlog shared on the @thedrewbarrymoreshow IG  is where the exchanges took place and started when a comment was made stating, “Hope he got a prenup”, after the commenter suggested she was only with him because of who he is.

Van Halen replied to that initial comment with: “So sad how cynical and negative everyone has become through the anonymity of social media. This comment says so much more about you and your character than anything else. I hope you reach a point of introspection and maturity that allows you to realize how unhealthy it is to be this negative. The world could sure use a bit more positivity. That being said I do unfortunately have to tell you to eat my ass.”

Back in August 2021 Wolf used similar wording when he tweeted: “I kindly suggest you eat my entire ass!” when he engaged in another online war of words.

The female fan then added: “Kid .. my generation grew up listening to your dad .. you are like our extended family , it isn’t mean .. we feel protective over you like auntie or uncle .. her vibe and body language is the negativity that we on the outside can see ..”

Wolf replied to her with: “You Could Die and Nothing In My Life Would Change.”

Again, this is nothing new to Van Halen as he’s found his way into these exchanges regularly over the years.

In April 2022 when rumors of a Van Halen tribute concert were at a fever pitch with public mentions from former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted along with guitar guru Joe Satriani acknowledging the same noting there were talks with Alex Van Halen and David Lee Roth tooWolfgang lashed out in a series of public tweets that made headlines everywhere.

“Well when the world is breaking down my door for a week talking about some dumbass reunion that isn’t happening and insulting me in the process I felt the need to clear things up. Just let me suck with my own band and fuck off,” tweeted Wolf.

A follow up from Wolf said: “Deleted it. More than it’s worth. The childish arguments will continue with or without my input, I truly don’t care. Just leave me the fuck out of it. I’ll always do right by Pop and that’s all that matters.”

Roth as expected when he did comment, replied like only Diamond Dave could telling the VHND: “IN MY MIND ‘VAN HALEN 4K’, IN THE AGE OF COVID IS GOING TO REQUIRE TWO OF US FOR EVERY POSITION. SATRIANI AND LUKATHER, ANTHONY AND NEWSTED, AL OR TOMMY LEE, PROBABLY THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD DO MY JOB WOULD BE PINK..”

In a 2023 interview with Classic Rock the youngest Van Halen said: “I was there to support my dad, but I was aware that I’d become the biggest enemy of every 40- to 50-year-old man out there in the world,” he says. “It was something I didn’t know how to handle. That did a lot of damage to me.”

For what it’s worth, it’s safe to say that while he was clearly suffering from the loss of his Father, he’s also seemingly took umbrage with anyone who commented or questioned him with anything related since his Father’s passing.

Wolfgang continues to write, record and tour with his band Mammoth WVH while his legendary Father Eddie died on October 6th 2020 at the age of 65 after battling illness for some years.
