CRAZY BUS CRASH … Buckcherry’s Tour Bus involved in Multi-Vehicle Fatal Accident over the Weekend, all Band Members and Crew are Reported to be Unharmed

METAL SLUDGE / August 22^nd 2026 – Los Angeles rockers Buckcherry were involved in a multi-vehicle accident while on tour on early Friday morning (August 21^st).

Reports on social media are sharing details that the band’s tour bus was part of a chain reaction of accidents that cost 1 driver their life.

The band are on tour and were traveling on a freeway in South Carolina when the accident occurred.

Below is a statement from the band that was released following the incident.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

At approximately 2:00 AM Friday morning, Buckcherry’s tour bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

We are extremely grateful to report that all members of Buckcherry and our touring crew are safe and unharmed.

Buckcherry’s scheduled performance tomorrow at the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is expected to proceed as planned.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who has reached out with concern and support.

USA Today reported on the accident with the following: “Rock band Buckcherry said its tour bus was one of multiple vehicles involved in a fatal accident in South Carolina on Aug. 21, just ahead of the band’s weekend concert shows.

A person was hit and killed by a Toyota sedan traveling east on Interstate 26 in Spartanburg County early Friday on Aug. 21, according to local South Carolina television station WSPA-TV. TV station WYFF reported that the crash occurred at mile marker 31 at about 2 a.m.

South Carolina Highway Patrol said a pedestrian had just been involved in a crash in the area, WYFF reported. After exiting the car, the person was struck in the roadway.”
