“We’ve been drinking… we’ve been drinking”
— Sammy Hagar to Vince Neil
Metal Sludge — Sammy Hagar hosted his annual Sammy’s Birthday Bash recently and there is video showing some of the fun.
Hagar, who turns 76 on October 13th 2023 appears to have been celebrating earlier in the week at one of his clubs down in Mexico.
Hagar is still out there killing it playing rock n’ roll and his band The Circle rocked the Cabo Wabo Cantina on October 9th 2023 for the Red Rocker‘s official bash.
Hagar has been hosting events, live shows and more at his Cabo Wabo Cantina down south of the border since 1990.
On this night the band featured many of the same guys who make up Sam‘s usual live jam-band including former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and guitarist Stevie Salas.
A few special guests got up and jammed as well including Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil.
Neil took the stage for a cover of the Brownsville Station song “Smokin’ In The Boys Room” and it’s safe to say that Vince had already had his fair share of Tequila.
Check out the full video with Neil below along with a second clip of Sammy Hagar and The Circle as they enter the stage for their opening number.
