GO AWAY!
Tracii Guns turned away at Canadian border, concerts cancelled
Canada — The great white north has bitten another rock band. This time it’s Tracii Guns and his band that were turned away at the Canadian border on early Monday evening.
The Tracii Guns official band facebook page have posted the following message.
Alert to our Canadian friends . We were turned away at the border at 650 PM tonight and due to circumstances that cannot be repaired at this time I have to let you know we will Not be performing the two shows this week . We love you and hope to make it up to you all as soon as possible !!!
The Canucks are not always friendly to the Hollywood rock groups it seems. Bang Tango and Bullet Boys had similar incidents at the Canadian border in the past.
The other touring L.A. Guns featuring original members Phil Lewis (vocals) and Steve Riley (drums) also had an incident at the border as well back in June 2014.
While returning from Canadian shows their guitarist Michael Grant was arrested on the US side for possesion.
Grant did spend the night in a Michigan jail and was required to return for a court hearing after the fact.
