Jack Russell of Jack Russell’s Great White takes a fall while performing live at ‘JD Legends” in Ohio on Saturday July 9th 2022

Metal Sludge — Rock singer Jack Russell took another fall this weekend while performing with his band Jack Russell’s Great White.

Russell and his group were the featured act at ‘JD Legends‘ in Ohio on Saturday July 9th 2022 where the fall took place during their live show.

This is not the first time the former Great White singer has fallen while performing on stage but like previous falls, Russell pulled himself up and continued the set like a trooper.

One fan who attended wrote to Metal Sludge exclusively about the incident saying: Jack Russell performed at JD Legends on Saturday. He missed his stool and fell over. I have the video.”

During the fall it appears that guitarist Robby Lochner makes a futile attempt to save Russell from falling but no luck as the singer disappears from the video clip below the fan’s heads.

The fan who wishes to stay anonymous also tells Metal Sludge: “I stopped recording when it happened. I love Jack, and felt bad. Just don’t tie my name to it. Don’t wanna look like a jerk lol. He did get right back up and continued to rock out. He really should think about retirement at this point. He was very upset that people were recording him to begin with.”

Fortunately it seemed that Russell was able to pull himself back up and finished the show without incident.

“The band kept playing, just looking at him, his staff/people behind the stage rushed to him, but he pushed everyone away and got up by himself. The crowd was shocked , but hugely applauded him for getting up on his own. Tony Montana his guitar played made a statement right before that you couldn’t keep Jack down. He confirmed his statement again after Jack’s fall.” added the fan.

Russell has been hampered with health issues for more than a decade which included the singer even being forced to wear a colostomy bag at some point

Metal Sucks wrote in a 2010 article about Russell and his related health issues: “Remember a couple of weeks ago, when we told you that Great White vocalist Jack Russell needs a colostomy bag now ’cause he has a perforated bowel, which basically means his intestines ripped open and shit starting spilling into places it ain’t s’posed ta spill? Well even though that colostomy bag is only supposed to be a temporary situation, it’s bad enough that Russell can’t participate in an upcoming Great White tour. That news might disappoint aging former cheerleaders who let the quarterback knock ‘er up at senior prom ’87 and have wished they’d had the pregnancy “taken care of” ever since, but Great White are true professionals, and those dicks ain’t gonna suck themselves, so the show must go on.”

In 2010 while still fronting Great White, Russell took a fall during the band’s opening number “Desert Moon” while performing in San Antonio Texas. (video below)

Jack Russel’s Great White is fronted by Russell and also includes classic era member Tony ‘MontanaCardenas, along with lead guitarist Robby Lochner, Dan McNay (bass) and Dicki Fliszar (drums).

Great White features co-founder and lead guitarist Mark Kendall, Michael Lardie (guitars & keyboards) and Audie DesBrow (drums) from the classic years, along with new vocalist Andrew Freeman and Scott Snyder on bass.
