Metal Sludge — Mitch Malloy has officially quit Great White.
Malloy, 60, took to social media today to let his fans and followers know the news.
Malloy wrote: “I have moved on from Great White.”
Great White features 3 of the group’s classic era members with Mark Kendall (guitars), Michael Lardie (guitars and keys) along with Audie Desbrow (drums).
Malloy who had been in the group since 2018 was their 3rd replacement singer adds: “We have been headed in different directions over the past year, but our brotherhood will always be there.”
“I’m excited about new adventures ahead, especially with the Mitch Malloy VH Experience and my Acoustic Storytellers show.” said Malloy.
Previously the band had Terry Ilous (2010-2018) of XYZ fronting the band, and there was a brief period in 2010 that the late Jani Lane (Warrant) also filled in while the group’s classic voice Jack Russell was ill.
Jack Russell’s Great White has been playing shows featuring classic members Russell and Tony Montana.
Great White have already named their new singer as Andrew Freeman.
