June 16th 2026 — In the latest episode from our friends over at the Get On The Bus podcast their guest is classic Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler.
Adler speaks in detail about growing up in the heart of Hollywood off the Sunset Strip.
The California native details some early teen history growing up with Slash, Flea and Hillel Slovak from Red Hot Chili Peppers along with Tracii Guns of L.A. Guns whom Adler says they all were playing instruments and going to school together at Bancroft Middle School.
Some crazy memories are shared as well when Adler tells listeners how Slash found a pair of leather pants in the garbage that he ended up wearing for 3 years.
Adler also talks about how he and Slash put an advertisement in the Recyler news paper which lead to them meeting bassist Duff McKagan.
Adler also gives Dr. Drew credit for getting him off over Heroin and Crack.
