METAL SLUDGE / October 14th 2026 – Everyone loves a good rumor and it’s even better when that rumor comes to life and is true, right?
Last night on Episode #22 of HAIR METAL CHAOS with The Guru and Rachelle, we put it out into the ether… predicting that Poison will reunite and tour in the summer of 2027.
HAIR METAL CHAOS is co-hosted by Anthony Bryant aka The Hair Metal Guru and Stevie Rachelle of TUFF… the rumor(s) and subsequent predictions all have a few moving parts so buckle up and pay attention.
First off, Rachelle says that Poison will be announcing soon that they will reunite the classic lineup of; Bret Michaels, C.C. DeVille, Bobby Dall and Rikki Rockett to tour in the Summer of 2027… their first full tour since The Stadium Tour back in 2022.
The second part of the rumor is… that Skid Row will be announcing soon, their new singer and will also be involved as the direct support to Poison on that 2027 tour run.
The third part is that Poison and Skid Row will bring along the ‘Queen of Metal’ Lita Ford (ex-The Runaways) as the tour’s opener.
Okay, so why were these predictions made… well, Rachelle noted a few things during last night’s episode of HAIR METAL CHAOS, which is shared below, and you should watch it in-full to see the details as to how these assumptions were made.
Call it crazy but simply put… Poison is due to tour, especially after this year’s – botched 40th Anniversary tour 1986/2026 – that never came to fruition.
Also, some of the direct competition for selling tickets to the die-hard hair metal fans will be a bit easier for the Neon Green 4-piece in 2027 than it would have been this past summer.
A few notes…
Motley Crue are not likely to tour as John 5 has already announced his partnership with The Duke of Spook Wednesday 13, and the pair have already started announcing various details and dates for 2027.
Also, Guns N’ Roses have just announced that they will take 2027 off from touring, as they have a lot of material that they are planning to focus on, which means 2 of the era’s biggest bands will now be out of the way for Poison to take the lead.
Def Leppard have also recently announced their 2027 tour with The Goo-Goo Dolls and The Struts… which has already drawn some upset from fans as it’s not a ‘full bill of hairbands’ for what that’s worth.
As for Bon Jovi… well, let’s just say it’s a safe bet he won’t be launching any big string of dates either… fair?
Adding, Aerosmith has all but retired, but did recently announce their 2-night stand at the Hollywood Bowl, but that is happening in just weeks’ time.
Van Halen is no longer and likely never will be again, even a 1-off to celebrate Ed appears to be a slim to none chance… and David Lee Roth with all the respect, should have stayed retired.
With all that, 2027 is ripe for Poison to do huge numbers and be the summer tour for the hair metal community… and what better band to support than a reignited and revitalized Skid Row with their soon to be announced new frontman, fair to say?
Also… Metal Sludge is making a bold statement here, and stating… that Skid Row will announce Indian born frontman Girish Pradhan from Gangtok, Sikkim, India as the band’s new lead singer.
Girish is a world-class vocalist with a voice that soars… google him and listen, he’s beyond amazing and would be a great frontman to fill the much-needed void in Skid Row.
Girish fronts an Indian based rock band called Girish and the Chronicles, who have a history dating back to 2009.
Over recent years Girish and his band have made headlines with appearances on America’s Got Talent in 2025 and even supported the mighty Guns N’ Roses in Dubai… not to mention playing various shows and festivals in Germany, Belgium, France, Finland, Spain and the United Kingdom for starters.
Noting here… there were no direct rumors or tips to say Girish will be the new Skid Row singer… this is simply a hunch… and if this rumor comes to fruition… fans will be beyond amazed and blown away at Girish’s singing abilities and star qualities.
Are you ready for 2027?
Do you want some Poison?
