Metal Sludge — In a brand new interview on the This, That And The Other Radio Show and podcast, Andrew Freeman speaks his mind on a few of the projects he has recently sang for.

Freeman was a guest on TT&TO with host Troy Patrick Farrell this past week and the journeyman singer has told listeners how he feels with seemingly no regrets boldly stating; “I just don’t care anymore.”

A few direct quotes from Freeman are noted below talking about a variety of bands he’s fronted including Last In Line the Dio tribute group, along with both Great White and FireHouse.

“You gotta find a way as (Last In Line) is a side band to Def Leppard. Waiting around (for schedules to open up) can be frustrating” says Freeman about playing with Vivian Campbell.

“It is a side project. It is a serious project, (and) it’ll exist until Viv doesn’t want to do it anymore” added Freeman.

Freeman on whether Wendy Dio approves of Last In Line, a tribute to her late husband Ronnie James Dio; “Definitely not. Definitely not approved.”

Freeman adds; “I’m going to hesitate from elaborating because I’ve lost work because of this band and their feud, I’ve lost work.”

Freeman also talks about the few gigs he filled in for FireHouse when their front-man Cj Snare was out due to sickness as reported in our article HOME SICK…” here on Metal Sludge back on July 9th 2021.

“When I filled in for Cj (Snare of FireHouse) he was not super happy about it.”

Freeman then gives some thoughts on how he felt the Great White situation was handled when he replaced Mitch Malloy and was subsequently replaced by Brett Carlisle.

Michael Lardie and I had a handshake agreement, if this doesn’t work for you let me know, no harm no foul. The problem is, they got sneaky about it”
says Freeman.

“I just don’t care anymore. It’s not that I don’t care about doing the right thing, I don’t care if these guys like me or if they like me anymore”, Freeman continues with “If they don’t like me, that’s fine. I don’t care, straight up.”
