“Sadly Stephen Pearcy and I in our efforts to bring together the original class of 1984 RATT band just couldn’t get lift off.”

Metal Sludge — After a semi-retirement, former Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer has announced his return to the tour circuit.
Blotzer, who turns 65 later this month took to social media today to tell the fans of his plans for Bobby Blotzer’s Rat Attack in 2024.
“Hi Friends, I’m bored on my retired scene over here. I wanna see you guys! I’m planning a tour and with all it’s gonna take to bring this, I’m hoping and presuming you’re hoping to see me too. Lol!” wrote Blotzer.
Blotzer continued: “I’ve decided to bring it again. I’m working with some really awesome musicians to be announced soon. If you came out and saw my version I toured in 2016, you’ll love this.”
Sources have revealed to Metal Sludge that Blotzer was holding auditions and rehearsing with various players back in September in the Los Angeles area.
Now it appears those sources were correct, as this announcement comes roughly 2 weeks after we were scooped on those private rehearsals.
Metal Sludge appears to have also nailed down who the line-up is, but out of respect for those involved, we’ll hold our tongue for now.
Dare we add Blotzer just might be right… the guys involved can all bring it and then-some.
“Sadly Stephen Pearcy and I in our efforts to bring together the original class of 1984 RATT band just couldn’t get lift off.” added Blotzer.
