HOSPITALIZED … Erik Ferentinos from Stephen Pearcy’s Rat Bastards Suffers Heart Attack with 99% Blockage in a Main Artery

Metal Sludge — Rock guitarist Erik Ferentinos has suffered a heart attack and has been hospitalized.

Ferentinos plays guitar for Stephen Pearcy in the Ratt singer’s solo band.

According to Ferentinos himself, via a social media post today (July 16th) he suffered the heart attack after last night’s Rat Bastards show at “Picktown Palooza” in Pickerington Ohio.

Ferentinos wrote: “I want to let my friends and family know that I suffered a heart attack last night after our show . I had a 99% blockage in my main artery as well as 2 other blockages. I’m in good hands here!! I now have 3 stents and I’m improving . Hoping to get discharged by tomorrow ! Just need to get my blood pressure down . I will not be missing any upcoming Stephen Pearcy concerts! See you all soon!!”

Pearcy and his band of Rat Bastards have been playing shows over the summer on the singer’s AgentProvocoTour with more dates on the calendar in 2022.

Ferentinos who was featured on Metal Sludge back in May after an appearance on the Waste Some Time with Jason Green Podcast has been playing with Pearcy for over 20 years in various formations of the singer’s side-projects.
