Metal Sludge — In a recent post on his official Twitter page, Wolfgang Van Halen has admitted to hating himself.

A recent story by Loud Wire ran a headline stating Wolfgang Van Halen has shut down the Van Halen covers request by fans, with the following: ‘I’m Not F***in’ Playing ‘Panama’ for You Guys.’

The Mammoth WVH singer and songwriter took to his Twitter and replied to someone’s Tweet regarding that article.

The comment from Bryan Suttle reads: “Dude really loves himself” and Suttle tagged both Loud Wire and Wolfgang Van Halen.

Wolfgang replied and shared the tweet writing: “How in the holy fuck did homie reach this conclusion from that headline? I’ve hated me WAY longer than the internet dickheads have, bucko.”

The 30 year old Van Halen also added a Spongebob Squarepants cartoon with his reply.

“Y’all are never gonna fuckin stop are ya?,” blasted Van Halen.

Fans of both Mammoth WVH and Van Halen have simply expressed their love and support of the older Van Halen works, and they continue to request or ask for Wolfgang to play some of Dad’s music.

But Wolfie (as his famous Mother calls him) seems to be offended by these requests and has grown increasingly moody when anyone suggests the idea.

Fans across the internet have been both supportive and critical of the son of the late Eddie Van Halen and how he has handled these situations.

One fan named Patrick David Jenkins replied with: “But why hate yourself? Your a very talented singer and musician, that’s something to be thankful for!”

Dave West adds: “Don’t hate yourself!” while Fallen Victoria chimes in with: “Please don’t say you hate yourself!”

Another blogger named Smeev also jumps in: “Wtf? You’ve hated yourself? This makes me so sad. This makes me so mad. Screwed up society. I don’t know why, but young man I better never hear you say that again. You matter, you’re worthy just as you are.”

Wolfgang is currently on tour with his band Mammoth WVH supporting Guns N’ Roses in stadiums across the U.S. and playing select club dates as a headliner.

Wolfgang’s Father Eddie Van Halen was a musical genius, icon and legend world-wide but sadly passed away from cancer back on October 6th 2020.
