Jizzy Pearl is Creepy Uncle Jizzo on JPearlTV

Metal Sludge — In an on-going series called ‘Storytime‘, Jizzy Pearl tells the crazy tales of Hollywood, the Sunset Strip and the Valley from back in the day.

Pearl is the face and voice of Love/Hate and while he grew up in the Valley, his music career was grown on the grid of Boulevards and Avenues running around Hollywood.

The distance between Hollywood proper and the Valley, is between 5 and 25 miles depending on from what corner of San Fernando you are traveling from.

And oddly, North Hollywood is technically in the Valley, and in truth, not even connected to Hollywood or West Hollywood… which of course is confusing to some reading this for sure.

Either way, Hollywood or the 213 and 323 area code, is a world away from the 818 area code that is the San Fernando Valley, even though it’s mere minutes apart.

Jizzy refers to himself in 3rd person on his channel as Jizzo, and has been doing the ‘Storytime‘ clips for a while now.

The veteran front-man gives you his first-hand perspective of what it was like as a soldier (aka broke rock star in training) on the Sunset Strip making his way towards that elusive Columbia Records contract.

Pearl covers all kinds of subjects like what it was like when a band had ‘label interest’, convincing a teen girl to allow his band to host a ‘house party’ while her parents were gone and of course going ‘blind’ from smoking too much stuff.

We have shared a fistful of these vlogs below that will surely bring you some joy, some sadness and probably some questions too.

The main question we have is how many drugs were consumed, how much booze was drank, how many women were had and how many arrests happened during all this fun?

Listen below to find out and make sure to check out more from your Creepy Uncle Jizzo at JPearlTV.
