eBay — Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer appears to be selling off one of Robbin Crosby’s custom guitars. The listing on eBay starts bidding at $ 2,500.00 for the ivory white Jackson (strat style body) guitar.
The listing on eBay includes close up photos of Bobby Blotzer holding the guitar, as well as a few other related documents. Including a letter or certificate of authenticity, that is signed by Blotzer himself. See images below.
Robbin Crosby, or the “King” as he was known to close friends had an extensive collection of custom guitars made for him by Grover Jackson over his career.
According to the band’s official Wikipedia page, “Crosby was one of the original members of the Los Angeles rock band Ratt. He would end up co-writing many of Ratt’s songs including “Round and Round“, “Wanted Man” and “Lay it Down“. The album Out of the Cellar went to triple platinum based on Crosby’s co-penned “Round and Round”.
Crosby was dating actress Tawny Kitaen (who would go on to appear in several Whitesnake videos) at the time he joined Ratt, and she appears on the album covers of both the Ratt EP (1983) and Out of the Cellar (1984).”
Crosby passed away in June of 2002, he was 42 at the time of his death.

The two wear marks are from Robins Guitar strap and Belt buckle. This guitar was a given to Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer who also wrote many songs that landed on Ratt records. VERY RARE.
