M3 announces 2020 lineup for 12th annual festival featuring; Tesla, Ratt, Night Ranger, Slaughter, Kix & Accept

 

 

COLUMBIA, Maryland —  The annual M3 Music Festival have announced their 2020 lineup.

The annual event in its 12th year will be held May 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2020.

Like previous events, the Friday will be headlined by hometown hereos Kix, with Slaughter as support, Heaven’s Edge and Mike Tramp (White Lion) also featured.

The Saturday is full of rock with Tesla as headliner, Accept (their 1st appearance at M3), Y&T, Faster Pussycat, Doro, L.A. Guns (Riley /Nickels) and Canada’s finest Killer Dwarfs will open the show.

Sunday is loaded, with 10 bands in total. Headliner is Ratt, Night Ranger, Stryper, Steven Adler and Steelheart all returning.

Also performing on Sunday afternoon are the newly reunited Bang Tango, with all original members.

Rounding out Sunday will be Texas’ finest Dangerous Toys, Little Caesar and Tyketto.

(Dec. 2, 2019) – M3 Rock Festival is celebrating a dirty dozen – the 12th edition of Merriweather Post Pavilion’s internationally-renowned ‘80s metal festival promises three days of excitement with festivities beginning Friday, May 1st with the annual Kix-off party, followed by a full weekend of performances Saturday, May 2nd and Sunday, May 3rd.

M3 Rock Festival’s Official M3 Kix-Off Party Friday, May 1st features hometown heroes KIX with special guests Heaven’s Edge and Slaughter. The full-blown 2020 M3 Rock Festival begins Saturday, May 2nd and includes multiplatinum-selling internationally known ‘80s artists: Tesla, Accept, Y&T, Doro, Faster Pussycat, LA Guns, Killer Dwarfs and more. BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! Stick around for Sunday, May 3rd featuring RATT, Night Ranger, Stryper, Stephen Adler of Guns and Roses, Steelheart, Bang Tango (with the original lineup), Dangerous Toys, Tyketto and Little Ceasar. Take to the skies this year with Merriweather Post Pavilion’s new SkyLawn – keeping your feet on the grassy ground while soaring 43 feet above the pavilion. It’s like walking on air, with the views to match!

Over the past decade, M3 has become more than a festival – it’s an ‘80s arena rock experience. Drawing diehard fans from six continents, 20 countries, and every state, M3 has evolved into an annual pilgrimage for those who grew up with ‘80s rock (a genre of music now referred to as the “new classic rock”) as well as for younger fans who embrace the fun and excitement of the glam metal era.

Each year, VIP and Pavilion seats sell out quickly. Three-day and VIP packages go on sale Friday, Dec. 13th at 10am EST through ticketmaster.com. Tickets can also be purchased at Merriweather Post Pavilion, 9:30 Club, The Anthem and Lincoln Theatre during normal box office hours.
