“It was my idea, my direction, and I like the way it turned out.”
— Lesli Sanders / Prophets Of Addiction
LOS ANGELES – Prophets Of Addiction, the latest band led by glam master Lesli Sanders, has a new album, “Face The Music” which hit the streets on January 31st 2025 courtesy of F-Bomb Records distributed by The Orchard/Sony Music Group.
The music was first released digitally last October via BraveWords Records.
The band’s latest is release #4 for the group that started with the much-revered debut “Babylon Boulevard” back in 2010, followed by “Reunite The Sinners” and “Nothing But The Truth”.
The “Face The Music” release features guest bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy, Billy Idol, John Waite) who also pulled double-duty by producing the disc.
Prophets Of Addiction are no strangers to guest appearances as they’ve previously had Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille guest on the song “Kings And Queens” off the “Reunite The Sinners” release.
Now their newest video comes on the heels of POA‘s video for “Let’s Get High” which dropped back in late 2024.
“I actually filmed most of it myself here in Washington,” Sanders said. “It was my idea, my direction, and I like the way it turned out.“

The new clip sees Sanders with bright red hair, and this latest POA disc belongs in the collection to any self-respecting glam fan who loved Sanders in his former bands City Girls‘ Boys and of course the legendary Sunset Strip group Queeny Blast Pop.
Sanders has also played with Marky Ramone among others throughout the years.
Sanders is the singer, founder and primary song-writer for POA and talked about the story behind the song, “The song, although portrayed in the video as if I am singing to the girl as that is a lot easier to portray is actually about learning to love oneself. It’s about believing in yourself having the courage to stand up for what you believe in and being yourself.”
Sanders goes on to talk about making this video, “Since all the players in Prophets Of Addiction live all over the country it takes a creative thought process to accomplish these videos. I had so many ideas and concepts, although the ideas were hard to accomplish. In the end, I hope you all enjoy this little story set to the song “Walk the World.””

Simply put, if you like a bit of that (early 2000’s era) Euro sleaze, then Prophets Of Addiction is for you.
Imagine if The 69 Eyes came in a bottle, and you poured it into a blender… and that blender was on the counter in a filthy apartment off the Sunset Strip – then you added a shot of Hanoi Rocks, a pinch of Faster Pussycat and a slice of classic New York Dolls – that is Prophets Of Addiction.
Prophets Of Addiction features 3 guitarists; lead by lady-killer Tchad Drats, G.G Sleaze and Terry Bratsch along with Sanders (lead vocals & bass) and Wayne Stokley (drums).
