Nikki Sixx lists Calabasas home for sale at 2.3M after buying Westlake Village mansion for 4.1M
LA Times — Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue just bought a mansion in Westlake Village so now he’s listed his place in a gated Calabasas community for sale at $2.399 million.
Set on a third-acre corner lot and designed for entertaining, the stone-clad house features wood floors, an office with built-ins, a loft, a music room/home theater, four bedrooms and five bathrooms. A waterfall sits in the garden courtyard.
A swimming pool, spa and barbecue center with fireplace and pizza oven complete the grounds.
He spent $1.89 million for the property in 2011, public records show.
Sixx, 55, founded Motley Crue in 1981 with drummer Tommy Lee. The bassist/songwriter has also worked on songs with Alice Cooper and Meat Loaf, among others.
He married Courtney Bingham, 28, this year. They spent $4.125 million on their Westlake Village house, which has 10,300 square feet of living space.
Cindee Zabner of Keller Williams is the listing agent of Sixx’s Calabasas home and represented the couple in their purchase.

Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue fame and his wife, Courtney Bingham, have bought a mansion in Westlake Village for $4.125 million.
The 10,300-square-foot single-story home is set on a sprawling 1.2 acres of landscaped grounds. High ceilings, large main rooms, a family room wet bar and extensive loggias make the home ideal for entertaining.
A spa sits off the swimming pool and another is by the master suite. The pool cabana has bathrooms, a covered area and an outdoor shower. There are a total of six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Sixx, 55, has been a constant on the heavy metal scene for decades. The guitarist and drummer Tommy Lee founded Motley Crue in 1981, and Sixx has been the primary songwriter. The glam metal band has released nine studio albums and started what is being billed as their “retirement” tour early this month. Among the group’s hits are “Wild Side,” “Home Sweet Home” and “Kickstart My Heart.”
He has also worked on songs with Alice Cooper and Meat Loaf, among others. The bassist and Bingham, 28, were married this year and recently announced they are expecting.
