Metal Sludge — In a newly released recording the band Quiet Riot have unearthed a near 20 year old recording session with Kevin DuBrow and Frankie Banali.
As fans know both DuBrow and Banali passed away in 2007 and 2020 respectively but the band lives on with Rudy Sarzo carrying the iconic band’s flag.
“I Can’t Hold On” was written by DuBrow and Alex Grossi according to the group.
The unique recording includes current and long time guitarist Grossi who co-wrote and first demo’d the track with DuBrow back in 2003.
The group have since added Sarzo to the song which has now been issued digitally along with a video that features both video footage and photographs of the late singer and drummer.
Ultimate Classic Rock has shared the track exclusively from Quiet Riot earlier today and writes: “I Can’t Hold On” appears on a newly remastered version of the group’s 2008 album, Rehab, which has been added to streaming services for the first time. You can watch a video below.”
