Quiet Riot is…. Johnny Kelly (drums), Rudy Sarzo (bass), TBA (singer) and Alex Grossi (guitars)
METAL SLUDGE / September 14th 2026 – In a brand-new social media post the band Quiet Riot have just uploaded and shared a band image with their next lead singer in a silhouette.
The image includes classic bassist Rudy Sarzo, long-term-tenured guitarist Alex Grossi, Johnny Kelly (drums) and a silhouette of their new frontman… which features the acronym TBA typed across the blank image.
Quiet Riot have been a hot topic in recent months since their current frontman Jizzy Pearl decided to part-ways from the band he has fronted for the last 7 years.
Pearl first sang for Quiet Riot from 2013-2016 and this latest tenure started in 2019.
Pearl will perform with Quiet Riot for the last time at ‘Fall Fun Fest’ in Blue Springs, Missouri this Friday night September 18th 2026.
Now we wait for the band’s official announcement…
Metal Sludge was one of the very first outlets to showcase the talents of 23-year-old New York native John Torra from the band Fire ‘N Ice with our article: “MUSIC INDUSTRY BUZZ… John Torra of New Jersey has Shared Videos of Him Singing Quiet Riot and His Voice is So Much Like Kevin DuBrow it’s Absolutely Scary!”
Torra was one of countless unknown hopefuls who took to social media to share their versions singing Quiet Riot classics, and his clips immediately went viral on multiple platforms.
John Torra singing “Cum On Feel The Noise“, “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)” and “Run For Cover.”
In addition to Torra having an incredibly similar voice to the band’s founder and classic frontman the late Kevin DuBrow, it became obvious he was someone to consider when not only the fans supported him, but dozens of known industry veterans vouched for Torra as well.
Torra was supported by numerous players who have deep rooted and legitimate musical credibility in the industry… it seems Torra took part in Rock N’ Roll Fantasy Camps and worked closely with names like; Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio), Todd LaTorre (Queensryche) and John 5 (Motley Crue, Marilyn Manson) among others, all whom praised him.
