RIP … Rock N’ Skull promoter Justin Murr loses battle with Covid-19, Dead at 48

Metal Sludge — Sadly we are reporting another industry related Covid-19 death.

Justin Murr has lost his battle with Covid-19.

Torrie Murr, the promoter’s adult daughter posted a lengthy message on his Facebook wall today, and in part wrote: “My world became significantly dimmer today…. this doesn’t feel real. I love so much Dad. Forever, Torrie.”

Metal Sludge first reported Murr being hospitalized with Covid-19 back on September 8th 2021.

Murr, 48, was best known in the music world for promoting the Rock N’ Skull and Skull-Fest concert series (2013-2019) along with a band and independent record label called Liberty & Justice Records founded in 1991.

Murr is a resident of Illinois, and leaves behind 2 daughters, a son and 1 Grand-child.

Metal Sludge sends condolences to the Murr family.
