Metal Sludge — Authorities in the Palm Springs area of California are currently seeking a long-haired man, and a female friend after the pair caused thousands of dollars in damages at a local area eatery.

It seems the leather clad rockers became disgruntled when they were told there was a wait, due to the restaurant being busy.

The I Heart Mac & Cheese manager says: “We had some very irate and angry customers” and then details how the two caused thousands of dollars in damages to their establishment because they were unhappy about having to wait for food.

At some point it is alleged there were some words exchange and as the pair left, they took umbrage and started throwing stuff, drink containers and pushing over various display items onto the food counters below, all of which was caught on CC-TV video.

Smile… you’re on Candid Camera.

As of this posting, the pair have not been officially identified, but authorities in Palm Springs California are looking for them, and the restaurant not only wants the damages covered, but would like an apology.

KESQ Channel 3 News from Palm Springs is reporting on the incident stating: “The owner of I Heart Mac & Cheese in downtown Palm Springs has filed a vandalism report with police following an incident early Sunday morning.

News Channel 3 obtained security camera footage from the restaurant which shows a man and a woman pushing drinking glasses off of a counter, which sent paper confetti and broken glass down onto food on the counter below.

The woman was also captured on video as she threw canned drinks at some staff. Both suspects left the restaurant moments after the incident was captured on camera.”

Below is actual video of the incident, along with still images taken from the restaurant’s security cameras.

If you know who these persons are, please contact the Palm Springs Police at (760) 323-8116.
