Rachelle is the founder and owner of the infamous online webzine that launched onto the internet in 1998.

Rachelle is also the frontman of the 80’s glam band Tuff.

“Metal Sludge was the TMZ of rock n’ roll before there was a TMZ” says Rachelle and tells Skakel, “We were on the net before MySpace, Facebook Twitter or Youtube. We were the first social network site for fans of the 80’s genre of music.”

Skakel has interviewed dozens of celebrities from all walks of the entertainment field. The InappropriateEarl list of victims to date includes actors, comedians, wrestling stars and UFC fighters.

Of course being the diehard hair band junkie Skakel has also sought out and interviewed some true rock royalty.

You can find interviews with Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), Fred Coury (Cinderella) and the ‘Cherry Pie girl’ Bobbie Brown to name a few.

Check out Earl’s podcast with Stevie Rachelle below as the two talk about the early days of Metal Sludge, Tuff and the Sunset Strip.
