Metal Sludge — The heavy metal band BLACK LABEL SOCIETY have been forced to postpone a few up coming shows from their U.S. tour.

The word is that BLS frontman Zakk Wylde has lost his ability to sing.

The tour also includes Nita Strauss and Jared James Nichols.

The first date affected was May 9th in Lexington Kentucky which has already been rescheduled for May 23rd. And the second date was May 10th in Raleigh North Carolina which has been pushed back to end of summer on August 30th.

The promoters honored the Kentucky show on the 9th as a Free Show with Strauss and Nichols, then informed fans to hold onto their tickets which will also be honored for the 23rd with BLS on the make-up date.

BLS social media platforms have shared the following message: “It’s with great regret that Zakk Wylde has lost his voice and is unable to perform tonight’s show. We are rescheduling this show to Monday May 23. Hold onto your tickets, Black Label Society will do this show for you on Monday May 23. Same venue, same show times. For tonight, the show is a free performance by Nita Strauss and Jared James Nichols
