“Welcoming Isaac Carpenter as the new drummer of Guns N’ Roses.”
— Guns N’ Roses
LOS ANGELES, California — In a brand new announcement on social media Guns N’ Roses have officially named their new drummer.
Isaac Carpenter is the new can-slammer for Gn’R and the band made an official announcement late this morning with a simple sentence; “Welcoming Isaac Carpenter as the new drummer of Guns N’ Roses.”
Carpenter, 45, has a laundry list of both touring and studio credits, but one that stands out is that he was a member of Duff McKagan‘s solo project Loaded back in 2009-2011.
Metal Sludge reported yesterday in our article on the breaking story that Frank Ferrer and Guns N’ Roses have parted-ways with the following: “While there is no official announcement of a replacement, a source has informed Metal Sludge that the new drummer is a buddy of Duff McKagan‘s.”
It appears that our source was correct, and we will update further when new developments happen in the Guns N’ Roses camp.
We have added a live video from the Download Festival in the United Kingdom of Loaded back in 2011 with the band performing the Guns N’ Roses song “It’s So Easy” with Carpenter on drums.
Congrats to Isaac Carpenter.
