“Look, we can’t go back to the ’80s — I don’t wanna do that — but I do want to be the front person, the leader of the pack that has these great rocking guys in back of me.”

LOS ANGELES, California — Lorraine Lewis is back with her revamped Femme Fatale band and the brand new single/video “Living Like There’s No Tomorrow” on Cleopatra Records.
Lewis co-wrote the new single with Steve Brown (Trixter) who also produced the track that he co-engineered with Scott Gutierezz, while mixing was done by Bruno Ravel (Danger Danger).
Lewis originally broke onto the Sunset Strip scene in the mid 80’s with Femme Fatale who were signed by MCA Records after a handful of shows, with mild success coming from the singles “Waiting For The Big One” and “Falling In & Out Of Love.”
Now she’s back with new music and a new star-studded lineup featuring: Joel Hoekstra (Guitars), Sean McNabb (Bass) and Matt Starr (Drums).
In a recent interview (shared by BLABBERMOUTH) with Jeff Gaudiosi of MisplacedStraws.com, Lewis stated about the current FEMME FATALE lineup: “Well, it’s all guys, for one thing. I’ve had a wonderful time being with the ladies of rock and roll — do not get me wrong — I’ve had a major blast. But FEMME FATALE originally was myself and four rocking guys, and we’re getting back to the roots of that.
“Look, we can’t go back to the ’80s — I don’t wanna do that — but I do want to be the front person, the leader of the pack that has these great rocking guys in back of me,” she explained. “And so we’re getting back to that look, getting back to that sound.” added Lewis.
Cleopatra Records who now have offices in both Los Angeles and Austin (Texas) will issue the new Femme Fatale on June 24th with the accompanying video directed by Vicente Cordero. (teaser is seen below)
