NEW MUSIC — The bay area band Babylon A.D. have been around since 1987 and to date have released 5 records starting with their self-titled debut “Babylon A.D.” in 1989 on Arista Records.
That debut featured the band’s biggest single to date, “Bang Go The Bells” and while they did issue a follow-up with “Nothing Sacred” in 1992 by 1994 the band decided to throw in the towel.
Over the next 30 years there have been several start and stops with the group, notably the early years 1987-1994, then a rebirth from 1998-2006, another from 2008-2010 and the most recent seeing the band return from their latest hiatus in 2013.
Now it’s 2025 and the group are ready to deliver the 6th studio release with “When The World Stops” on Kivel Records.
The group features classic era members Derek Davis (Vocals), Ron Freshi and John Matthews (Guitars) along with new additions in Craig Pepe (Bass) and Dylan Soto (Drums).
