“What a fantastic way to end my trip to California A Great Dinner Hang with my good buddies Alex Van Halen & Chris Jericho.”
— Steve Brown of TRIXTER
LOS ANGELES, California — The million dollar question is, what did they eat?
In a new social media post this week Steve Brown of TRIXTER and Chris Jericho of FOZZY are seen hanging out with Alex Van Halen of the mighty VAN HALEN!
Brown took to Facebook on Thursday Sept. 4th to share the following message: “What a fantastic way to end my trip to California A Great Dinner Hang with my good buddies Alex Van Halen & Chris Jericho
The Trixter Tour resumes tomorrow night in Fort Pierce Florida
#musicians#vanhalen#oneinamillion.”
Van Halen, 72, has seemingly since retired from performing but Brown, 55, and Jericho, 54, just might be 2 of the hardest working guys in the entertainment industry.
Brown has reinvented a 3-piece version of the band (TRIXTER) he founded back in 1983, that now sees the guitarist also handling lead vocals along with side-kick PJ Farley (bass) who ironically also plays with FOZZY.
Brown also co-produced classic KISS member Ace Frehley‘s 2024 release “10,000 Volts” and is now currently producing Femme Fatale‘s Lorraine Lewis as well.
As for Jericho, what can we say but this guy must have a body-double or two… as it seems he’s either on stage, in studio, hosting his podcast or in the ring 30 days of the month!
Jericho is currently signed with AEW (All Elite Wrestling), and also hosts the ‘Talk Is Jericho‘ podcast… in addition to all things FOZZY.
Oh, and just for the record… Metal Sludge did reach out to Brown and asked; “What did you guys eat?”
Brown replied: “Ha ha. Burgers… veggie n sweet potato fries”.
So now you know…
As for Alex, he has rarely been seen in public since the unfortunate death of his younger brother Edward Van Halen back in October of 2020 but he still holds a legendary status in the industry.
Make sure to catch TRIXTER on their current U.S. tour and FOZZY when they hit The U.K. in early 2026.
