“Making new music is never stupid… thinking you’re going to make money off new music, now that’s stupid!”
— Jizzy Pearl of Love/Hate
LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Hot on the heels of L.A. Guns, it appears Jizzy Pearl is trying to keep up with a band he once fronted.
Hmmm, what do we mean by that… well…
Mr. Pearl has been pretty busy in recent years in the creative juices category, and now… he’s going to bless all of you diehards with yet another new record.
Pearl has just announced last week that he’s making a new record… and he just released “Punk Rock Fiesta!” on Kenyon Records last year.
That last release was without a doubt one of his best since perhaps the major label records in the early 90’s… and that’s not us telling you, but rather the fans.
Pearl also released “Hell, CA” back in 2022, so if he drops this new one in 2026, that would be 3 full length records in 4 years… which by comparison, L.A. Guns who’ve also been pretty busy with new music, have released 3 in a 4 year span as well… dropping records in 2021, 2023 & 2025.
While not many artists who have been around for 3 or 4 decades release new music this regularly, it’s safe to say that Jizzy Pearl and his Love/Hate brand are definitely in that discussion.
There was also the Love/Hate release titled “Before the Blackout (Demos 1986-1987” that hit the streets in 2017.
Love/Hate also released 6 albums between 1990 and 1999… so this up n’ coming effort will makes Pearl‘s next L/H release #10!
