Metal Sludge — In a brand new interview with The Classic Metal Show, former Enuff Z’Nuff singer and songwriter Donnie Vie is the guest.
Vie talks at length with CMS co-host Chris Akin and doesn’t hold his tongue when the subject of his former band and co-founding band-mate Chip Z’Nuff comes up.

“I proposed doing shows with them (Enuff Z’Nuff) again, and um… he (Chip Z’Nuff) shot it down. He wanted nothing to do with it.
“ says Vie (as transcribed by Metal Sludge).
Vie continues as he says he asked Z’Nuff: “What do you think the fans want? Do you think they want to hear you up there, ah, gargling thumb tacks, or do they want… the guy. I mean, I am the guy. You know what I mean?”
On Chip Z’Nuff’s current lineup of the band: “Let him do what he wants, ya know. It’s ah, I don’t think it’s, it’s not Enuff Z’Nuff, that’s what it is… it’s just, call it that… is ah, like putting a turd in Snickers wrapper… you know what I mean, it’s like you open it up and it’s like (gagging) and then what happens then? You never want a Snickers again.”
Vie closes with: “All the greatest things and all the saddest things, and this and that, that I have done in my life, I did with that guy next to me. And um, ya know…. I considered him a big brother.
And, ah, I am not so sure, ah… you know what I was considered. Really, the people that get ya, are the people you are not watching.”
