Metal Sludge — The vinyl craze continues and TUFF along with the band’s own indy print RLS Records have just released a reissue remaster of “The Glam Years 1985-1989” on 12″ black purple vinyl.
Back in 2021 TUFF announced their signing of an official licensing deal with Rhino Entertainment Warner Music Group to secure the rights to remaster and reissue their Atlantic Records debut “What Comes Around Goes Around.”
Now to kick off 2023, the band and label are giving fans more vinyl for their collection in the way of this brand new remaster reissue of their glam era hits of the 1980’s in a best of package.
This release features a dozen songs, 6 per side, and include the early era Baby-O Studios demo sessions with former frontman Jimmy “L’Mour” Gillette (Nitro).
There is Side Jimmy, and Side Stevie which features songs with the classic era frontman Stevie Rachelle.
The Rachelle era recordings were done at the world-famous Sound City Studios in the spring of 1988 and a second session done at Sunset Sound and Amigo Studios a year later in early 1989.
The package also includes a 2-panel full color insert, with both solo shots and group images from both lineups.
