Metal Sludge — In what world did anyone think a 10 band lineup of mostly 80’s glam era hairbands would show up for a week-long tour run in Australia, in 2023?
Well, stranger things have happened, and it looks like this is going to be one of them.
Glam Fest is set to hit 4 major cities in Oz, including Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney.
The lineup features 5 bands from the U.S.A., 1 from Sweden and a handful of local and regional Aussie bands.
The event is headlined by Faster Pussycat with Wednesday 13 of the Murderdolls as direct support.
In addition, Eclipse from Sweden will appear along with Enuff Z’Nuff, Pretty Boy Floyd and Tuff as the international groups making the long flight Down Under.
Opening the shows nightly will be Aussie artists Sisters Doll and Crosson, along with locals at selects dates that include Cassidy Paris (in Melbourne), Atomic Riot (in Melbourne), Dept. Of Gloom (in Sydney), Starcrazy (in Sydney) and Catalano (in Brisbane).
