NOT CREDIBLE REAL MUSIC
Eddie Trunk disses Steel Panther again: “Not all that funny”, “It’s a joke” and “It’s disparaging”
YouTube — In a new youtube clip from his radio show the self appointed Kiss Army President and rock n’ roll know-it-all Eddie Trunk takes aim at Steel Panther once again.
Trunk has blasted the Hollywood glamour Gods before but once wasn’t enough, or as he admits he’s addressed this subject “1,000 times.”
A caller calls and asks; “I heard you say you don’t like Steel Panther, and I was curious why?”
Now before we go on, you may recall a caller called Trunk’s show years ago asking about Steel Panther as well.
The best part about that caller was that it was actually Steel Panther guitarist Satchel acting as Tom (the caller).

Trunk answers the latest Steel Panther inquiry with the following: “I have nothing personal against anybody in the band. They are good people, they are good players and all that. But it’s a spoof. It’s an act. It’s mocking 80’s hard rock.”
Trunk then says the following about Steel Panther fans: “There is a segment of their audience which beyond all comprehension does not get, that it’s a goof. What they’re doing is a spoof, it is a parody act. It is a comedy act. Don’t believe that? First of all, I don’t kmow maybe you are under a rock.”
Trunk continues: “My time and energy are going to be invested into the bands from that era, that are still trying to make new credible real music.”
What’s funny about the credible and real statement is that Trunk has worshipped at the Kiss altar for 4 decades.
Kiss being a band who wear clown-like make-up, Halloween costumes, wigs and their 68 year old bassist spits fake blood.
“The bass player litterally applies make-up while the show is happening. His hands aren’t even on the bass. Cause I guess they are running a track or something. And people think that’s like, when I say it’s a goof, that it’s like some sort of slander to the band. It’s like what are you talking about? Of course it is.” adds Trunk
Wait, it’s a goof? It’s not real? What next, Santa Claus is fake too? Thanks for the breaking news Eddie.
Trunk has stood firmly on the fact that he supports credible and real music, adding “I would love if they became a real band.”
One twitter follower already reacting to our article tweets: “I love the “wish they were a real band” statement. You mean like a Dio hologram?”
Trunk supports the Dio Hologram as he’s interviewed the creator Jeff Pezutti along with Wendy Dio on his show.
